. . .“It’s good to work with the architect from the beginning because I focus on the interiors and can help edit the plans,” Leftwich explains. “Some clients want us to come in and start from scratch, and others just want us to take care of furniture selection and placement. We do both.” Leftwich spends quite a bit of time traveling, searching for one-of-a-kind pieces for her clients and most clients get to enjoy a hands-on shopping experience in her New Orleans home furnishing store, Villa Vici. This one-stop interior design resource center carries lighting, mirrors, armoires, occasional tables, antique reproductions and dining, living and bedroom furniture. Most of her business comes from repeat clients focusing on second and third homes who return to Leftwich for her well-defined sense of style.
